Die frühere Assistenz-Firma Goldair AAS am Flughafen Zürich sieht sich einer Welle von Klagen ehemaliger Angestellter gegenüber. Mehrere Verfahren sind bereits beim Bezirksgericht Bülach hängig, wie der Regionalsekretär des VPOD Luftverkehr, Stefan Brülisauer, gegenüber der Nachrichtenagentur Keystone-SDA erklärte. Der Gewerkschaft zufolge dürfte sich die Zahl der klagenden Ex-Mitarbeitenden auf über 100 belaufen.
Im Kern der Auseinandersetzung stehen laut VPOD ausstehende Zahlungen in erheblicher Höhe. Die Gewerkschaft spricht von insgesamt rund 2 Millionen Franken, die frühere Beschäftigte von Goldair AAS nachfordern. Einzelne Klagen belaufen sich demnach auf bis zu 40'000 Franken pro Person. Beanstandet werden insbesondere nicht ausgerichtete Ferienentschädigungen während des Urlaubs sowie eine vertraglich zugesicherte, bezahlte Pause von 30 Minuten, die nicht als Arbeitszeit erfasst worden sein soll.
Goldair AAS war bis 2024 am Flughafen Zürich tätig und bot dort Betreuungsdienste für Passagiere mit eingeschränkter Mobilität an. Die rund 120 Mitarbeitenden dieses Bereichs wurden Anfang 2025 vom Flughafen übernommen und sind seither direkt beim Flughafen beschäftigt. Goldair AAS selbst war ein Joint Venture zweier Firmen und agierte am Standort Zürich zudem als Bodenabfertiger für Fluggesellschaften wie Chair, Air Serbia, Eurowings, Pegasus, Lot und GP Aviation. Im vergangenen Sommer hatte das Unternehmen bereits wegen der angekündigten Schliessung der Zürcher Station in einem anderen Fall im Fokus gestanden: Nach einem Warnstreik gewährte der Bodendienstleister einen Sozialplan, hielt aber an der Schliessung fest.
Die neuen Klagen sorgen nun auch an den Finanzmärkten für Aufmerksamkeit. Die Titel der Flughafen Zürich AG gaben im Handel an der SIX zwischenzeitlich um 1,92 Prozent auf 245,60 Franken nach. Der operative Assistenzdienst für mobilitätseingeschränkte Reisende liegt mittlerweile vollständig beim Flughafen, die rechtliche Auseinandersetzung richtet sich jedoch gegen den früheren Dienstleister Goldair AAS. Wie rasch das Bezirksgericht Bülach die zahlreichen Verfahren bearbeiten wird und ob es zu Vergleichen kommt, ist offen.
